In the spring
of 2002, my friend Brian contacted me about installing one of
my custom webcams on his house in Wells Beach. We talked it over
and decided to mount it on a mast with a remote rotator so he
could show glimpses of the beach, as well as Mile Road and the
wetlands. I installed the capture card and software, and we did
the wiring and setup together, with Brian doing the roof work.
The camera has been online since then, uploading over three million
images to some two and a half million visitors. I hope you enjoy
the webcam and Wells Beach ME as much as we do!
